This is a parts unit or a restoration project! Super cool and old. I found it at an estate sale. It looks like many years ago someone broke the bottom part and damaged the metal on the inside. I think this would make a fanatic project. If not, it’s a great parts unit. I do know that but sadly the condition is just terrible. Please message me with any questions! From what I understand, this one was created by the artist – Reuge. It needs to be restored! The bottom piece was hit and broken at some point. This caused part of the frame to get damaged. This is an incredibly rare carousel music box. An Italian ceramic tabletop carousel has angels on doors that open when “I Could Have Danced All Night” is played on a Swiss music box. It has a push button that starts the music and opens and closes the doors with musical cherubs. This vintage centerpiece dates from the days when cigarettes went with dessert and coffee with cream and sugar were good for you. Mounts are gold plated.
