Antique Early Symphonion Music Box- Paul Lochmanns & Ellis Parrs
Up for sale is an antique German symphonion music box. This one is by Paul Lochmanns & Ellis Parrs (makers mark on center of movement). According to online sources, this was one of the first symphonion models. The music box played when wound and gives such a lovely sound. There is a lever on the front for winding and a side lever to start and stop. This comes with one disc. The piece appears to be in overall good condition. A few scratches on the wood, but nothing out of the ordinary with age. We inherited this piece from a late relative that specialized in clocks and clock related restoration. We ourselves are not experts and so accuracy and precision is not guaranteed. Please see photos for details and feel free to message with any questions. 12 x 6.75 x 12 inches.
