Here’s a nice estate sale find from Pinehurst, N. I’m guessing this antqiue cylinder music box is from the 1800s though I can’t say for certain. As you can see, the exterior is in very good condition for being more than 125 years old. Check out the butterfly strikers. They are in lovely shape as well. The box is easy to wind up. The on/off switch could use some work as could the mechanism for switching from song to song. The music box is approximately 20 inches wide, by 12 inches deep and 9.5 inches tall.
