1897 RARE WOOD ANTIQUE – FLETCHER MUSIC METHOD TEACHING BOX. This listing is for an extremely rare piece of Music Teaching History. What make it so rare and special. FLETCHER MUSIC METHOD HISTORY. Very few Music box sets were ever made and less have survived intact after 100 years. They learned about rhythm and time, sight reading, the piano keyboard, major and minor scales, cords, and intervals and more. It was taught by using wooden objects as game pieces. This proved to be quite limiting to the life of her system. We are offering Rare set-in pristine condition, in the original wood box. What in the box. FLETCHER TIMING BLOCK GAME. The box contains over 120 all Wood Game pieces in Black Japanned finish. The pieces are in excellent condition. In the set is a deck of Music cards with Clappy Clapp Song to teach music. Two fabric bags with Musical notes hand sewn on one of them. The wood box measures 21″ long x 5 ½ ” tall x 8 deep. There is a stackable wood insert inside for holding more pieces. Inside the lid of the box is stamped: FLETCHER MUSIC METHOD, MUSIC BLOCK GAME, PAT. The box is very nice and very sturdy with some normal wear on the outside and pristine on the inside. All locks are working order. The leather handle is missing but should be easy to replace and does not detract from the box. This Box set are highly unusual to find. In addition, the wonderful condition for something of their age and with so many pieces are quite amazing. Any collector or even museum would be lucky this set. THANK YOU FOR VISITING!
