The Antique Karl Griesbaum German Singing Bird Cage is a rare and collectible piece made in Germany during the early 20th century. The brass definitely some wear and age. These look like age spots. The cage is beautiful the braided bars go inward, but that maybe how it was designed. Under the bird, there looks to be a red mushroom/flower that is missing its top. The bird itself sings and moves, and the wind up and switch to turn it on and off both work great. The felt tip on two of the three legs is missing. I honestly would have just removed the last one, but it is best to let the collector do that.
