This is an antique Victorian style Swiss music box that was handmade in Switzerland or the United States before 1900. Because of its age, it has lost its factory markings. This is a large music box with traditional craftsmanship and design. Antique Victorian Style Large Swiss Music Box Victorian Swiss Made Cylinder Music Box, measures approximately 17 1/2 inches long, 8 inches wide, 5 3/4 inches high, and the cylinder measures 8 inches. The music box is working, but there is no tuning card on the inside of the lid, one end of the side baffle is missing, and there is no dust cover. It has been in the garage for a long, long time and no one has used it. The interior needs to be cleaned. It is a very rare antique. The music box retains its original finish and looks very good.
