Antique Victorian Swiss Jacots Cylinder Music Box Working with 12 Aires Circa 1888. Up for sale is this nice circa 1888 antique Victorian Jacot’s Swiss cylinder music box. It plays 12 songs and measures 19 3/4″ wide x 9 1/2″ deep x 6 1/2 tall. It features a play-stop lever to play continuously through all the songs until you move it to the stop position. There is a separate dial to select the number of a certain song to play with a change/repeat lever and it has Jacot’s patented 1886 safety check. The overall condition is very good, and everything works as it should. The wood case has some minor wear especially on the top lid. The original winding handle is not present, but it has a replacement key that works fine. The original song list, a piece of art in itself, is in very good condition.
