This music box sounds magnificent. All the bells chime clearly and the drum sounds clean and precise. Overall, this music box is in excellent condition, considering it is over 150 years old. There is a very slight warping to the left side of lid. It looks like part of the lock on the lid has been removed. All the levers work, except the play side of “stop/play” lever works intermittently. This music box measures 23″ L x 11″ W x 10 H and it is very heavy.
