Carousel Music Box – Rare Four Horse Carousel made by Giftec – Dimensions – 16″ tall X 8 1/2″ in diameter. This beautiful somewhat rare four horse carousel music box is exquisite in its detailing. It is a riot of pastel colors with four different colored horses in floral harnesses that spin on their axis and go up and down. The overriding color scheme is a cream color with a hint of pink. This is a battery operated carousel instead of the conventional finger wind. The on and off switch is in the form of a coin on the surface of the carousel, pressing it down turns it on, pressing it down again stops it. The music is The Carousel Waltz. An ideal additional to any child’s, baby’s room or to add to a collection. The overall condition of this piece is very good with no obvious cracks, chips, etc. It is rare in our experience to run into a music box of this quality and size in such great condition considering how old it is.
