Beautiful vintage REUGE of Switzerland glossy-finish burl wood and black lacquer trim music/jewelry box with abalone inlaid hummingbird and wood inlaid flower design. This lidded hinged box is in a decorative scalloped oval shape with multiple species of wood inlay. When opened box plays’Wind Beneath My Wings’ on a genuine REUGE Swiss 36-note musical movement mounted underneath a crystal clear lucite cover. Footed box measures approximately 11 inches long, 7 inches wide and 3 inches high. Velvet-lined jewelry compartment is 4.5 inches long, 5 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep.
