Vintage Italian marquetry triangular jewelry box table with a Swiss Reuge music movement. The first Reuge music boxes were made in 1865 by Charles Reuge This tables features intricate wood inlay designs and a working music box mechanism. 16 1/2 inches tall. Made in Italy with Swiss-made Reuge music movements. A spring-loaded cylinder with pins plucks the teeth of a comb to produce music when activated. Music Box turn key on underside, photoed. Serves as a small side table and a music box with a storage compartment inside. Age related changes to finish, photoed. Very good working condition.
