This beautiful antique music box was made by Thomas Dawkins & Co. Of Geneva, Switzerland in c. It is aprox 16″ x 8″ x 10.5 tall. It is upright Model #36956, as indicated on the handle and underside. It is in a beautiful wood case with marquetry wood inlay and mother of pearl inlay. It has the Dawkins sphinx stamp on the governor, and when fully working plays multiple songs. It needs some restoration work, both to the mechanics and the box as it has some wear to the veneer and a chip on top as shown in photo and some missing teeth. We would love to find a home for it that will restore it to its original beauty!
