17 Kalliope (1895 model# 108) in walnut case. Single comb with one tooth expertly replaced in the past. Tone is typical bright Kalliope. The mechanism appears to be original. The spring could use a refresh (as is not unusual for a 120 year old motor); will play 2 revolutions dependably. Lid inlay has internal crack but still intact. No evidence of worm damage to case. Comes with 8 discs including 2 Christmas tunes: Cavalleria Rusticana Intermezzo, Die Mullerin in Schwartzwald, Die Kloisterglocken, High School Cadet March, Mikado Waltz, Cadiz, Adeste Fideles (Henstooth recut), Oh Holy Night (Henstooth recut). Note: Henstooth Disc produces reproduction discs for the 17 Kalliope. He (Jack Perron) also has numerous Regina/Polyphon 15 tunes transcribed for this machine as well.
