Music box has gold 6 bells that chime in time with the music as the Nutcracker dancers turn. When you leave the top open it is louder. That is the only sound adjustment. Heavy cherry finish wood box. Comes with 9 volt AC adapter/charge. On/off switch is on the cord. It will play until you cut it off. The box has a few dings to the wood, not very noticeable and very good vintage condition.
