This listing is for a rare antique Swiss cylinder music box. This one is giant, measuring about 31.5 x 10.75 x 8 inches with a 17.4 inch cylinder. The music box works and has a nice sound. It was last serviced in 2022. The casing is made from wood with lovely inlaid designs. This particular music box is called a “Forte-Piano Harmonique”. This music box is in overall good condition for its age. All teeth are good and present. The casing is also in good condition. There are a few minor signs of normal wear and age- a few pieces of missing inlay from the front, but it’s not very noticeable. The music box plays 12 songs including “Les Toreadors” from Carmen Suite 1 by George Bizet and the overture from “Le Barbier de Seville” by Gioachino Rossini. Please see photos and video for details.
