For your consideration is this super cute Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Steinbach company. The music box features a band wagon that is pulled by 4 horses and carries 4 musicians. The musical movement is a REUGE swiss one and works great. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well “So ein Tag so wunderschoen wie heute”. This is a festive song for celebrations. To wind it up, just pull the wooden knob on the side to reveal the string. The music is playing until the string is completely retracted. This piece is in excellent condition, the colors are bright and shiny and it is complete. Marked with the Reuge label and most probably dates back to the 1970s.
