This is an “as found” cylinder music box maker unknown to me. There is a capital letter “J” stamped in the bedplate visible in one of the photos. This large interchangeable box with the musical portion of the cylinder measuring 16 across comes with a total of six cylinders. It is unusual that a total of six original tune cards (five shown) have stayed with the box all these years. Eight nested bells accompany the music out of sight. A lever gives the owner the choice of turning the bells on or off. The cabinet, including the music box itself, measures 41″ high, 34″ across and 22 deep. It is a rich, burled wood veneer. The comb has one broken tooth as you can clearly see in one photo. Also, someone has replaced two teeth tips in an unconventional manner. The box needs a considerable amount of damper work also. This is an impressive box with fine tone. I’ll be glad to answer any questions. Music Box with 6 interchangeable cylinders and 8 bells – YouTube.
