Please find a fabulous sounding antique Paillard music box with interchangeable cylinders. This Paillard music box model 601-602 was built in Switzerland around 1880 /1890. The Bowers encyclopedia mentions this model on page 46 as an unusual instrument and that is indeed what it is. This Paillard comes with 2 interchangeable cylinders with each 5 great sounding songs. Changing the cylinders is simple as you can see in one of the following films that I made. The wooden case with brass handles and beautiful inlay / marquetery measures: 60 x 30 x 20 cm. (23,5 x 11,8 x 8 inch). The comb is complete, so no missing teeth. It plays just great and so I made 6 films for you to listen to all the 10 songs and to show you how to change the cylinders.
