Wonderful vintage “Little Clown” shadowbox music box designed by Koji Murai. It features a circus scene of clowns balancing on a seesaw against a backdrop of a larger clown face. It includes a small drawer at the bottom for storing jewelry or small items. It plays music when wound up, and the drawer is pulled out. When activated, the clowns move in time with the music. It plays the song “Top of the World” by the Carpenters. Made of wood and other materials. Measures approximately 8″ tall x 7″ wide x 3.5 deep. In wonderful condition for its age, with minimal age / storage wear – only a light water stain on the bottom (see last photo). Not noticeable when in a standing position.
