For your consideration is this lovely vintage Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features a dark blue globe with stars and five musical angels, sitting in half moons. This beautifully detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in the former East Germany by the famous company “Wendt & Kuhn”. When the music is playing, the pole with the angels rotates. The musical movement is a swiss THORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: “Silent Night”. To wind it up, just turn the key on the side clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. Just push the lever to the right to start the music. The music box is in great condition, but unfortunately not complete. There are 4 wings missing and one cymbal. The paint is in great shape, though. The star on top of the pole is a little bend. Please look at all pictures and zoom in.
