This 20-note instrument was originally known as “roller organ”. Manufactured by the Autophone Company, owned by Henry B. Horton of Ithaca, NY. I have got it in very bad condition, literally like a trash (look at the last pictures). It is very old instrument, probably 1880′. Fortunately all reeds and action parts was in good condition, although rusted. The outer box is not original, but was reproduced in original material solid wood veneered at both sides. Most of inner parts were repaired or replaced with the same solid wood. The bellows get a new rubber fabric. The action was precisely regulated. One original pinned cylinder is included. The sound of this instrument you may hear at the YouTube movie. The organette has vacuum system with four bellows and large receiver.
