ANTIQUE SWISS CYLINDER MUSIC BOX c. This is a genuine mechanical spring-driven music box with original brass pinned cylinder and steel comb housed in its original wooden tabletop/parlor case. Features two period tunes. “Goodbye Dolly Gray”. “Honeysuckle and the Bee” The movement appears complete and original with functioning tune-change mechanism. A wonderful example of late Victorian / Edwardian Swiss craftsmanship likely produced in the St. Croix region of Switzerland for export to the American market. Condition: Shows honest antique age and wear including finish wear, surface marks, oxidation/patina, and age-related cosmetic wear consistent with over 120 years of age.
