This is a fully functioning music box. There are 4 songs on it. The spool shifts automatically after 1 revolution to get to a section with two of the songs. The shutoff mechanism is the round knob on the front. Just shift it right to play, left will end at the end of the songs set. It plays with the lid closed or open. Winds just fine and sounds great. Case is excellent condition – looks like walnut or mahogany. Includes the songs shown on the inside of the lid in the photo. Top is 7 1/4″ by 4″ and height is 2 7/8.
