As you keep turning the finial, the music begins and the four doors rotate open, revealing the storage pockets. Then you turn the finial back the other way to close the doors and the music stops when the doors are closed. It does make a clicking sound when the music plays, I don’t know a lot about these, so that might just be the automation working or it might be something that needs to be repaired.
