These hand held, hand cranked, music boxes were referred to as “manievelle-style” music boxes. I believe the music box is Swiss or German as stated, although there is a partial paper label on the back with some French writing as well. Condition: Very good, although with expected wear. The most obvious wear is to the top of the box, where the crank has worn the lithographed paper from using the crank to wind the music box. There is also some minor loss to the wood on the right side. Measurements: 3″ x 2 1/4″ x 1 3/8.
