Antique Kalliope Disc Music Box with 5 Discs
Antique Kalliope Disc Music Box with 5 Discs. I don’t know much about this music box, but a little research suggests it was made in the late 1880s in Leipzig Germany. It plays 13 1/4 discs. I’ve taken photos to show condition. I put a disc on it, gave it a crank and it “plinked” out some music. There is a crack on the top of the box, but other than that, it appears to be in pretty good condition considering its age. The mountain graphic is in tact and appears to be in good shape.
