This beautifully detailed music box was made in the Erzgebirge region in Germany by the well known Hubrig company. When the music plays, the entire platform rotates. The musical movement is a swiss REUGE Romance movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in great condition, but unfortunately not complete: one girl is missing her watering can and the rake is missing the top.
