ORIENTAL 11121 BLACK ASIAN BAKELITE SMOKING SET CIGARETTE CASE LIGHTER MUSIC BOX. Up for your consideration is this really nice true antique “Oriental” brand cigarette case lighter – music box in the form of a grand piano – made from Bakelite. These are becoming hard to find, and this one has the important parts working – The music box and the lighter! It is missing the bottom tray – so its not perfect – but working as it does it would still make an awesome addition to your smoking collection!! This is a precision made piece – it is put together with lots of tiny stainless steel screws, like a fine watch, I must say it is pretty impressive. When the lid is lifted the music plays and it comes from a quality music box as the notes sound pleasant to the ear… It is embossed with 2 chipmunks on the top among the vines and “berries”? When the lid is up and you need a light simply press the flat spot in front of the lighter and the lighter cover pops up and strikes a flame automatically… INCLUDED: The actual smoking music box pictured. NOT-INCLUDED: No original box, packaging, or paperwork. No props used for size reference. DIMENSIONS: It measures about 5-1/4″ wide x 6-1/2″ deep (front to back) x 2-1/8 tall. CONDITION: This comes to you in overall excellent condition. The only mentionables are that the interior push-plate that fits into the bottom of the cigarette case is missing. The other thing is that a tiny piece of the piano case (above and to the left of the cigarette case) has broken off – I almost did not notice it at first – it is pictured – but unless you are looking for it you wouldn’t notice it. Aside from the missing plate and the chip it is in otherwise excellent condition. As stated the music box works great and the lighter mechanism also works perfectly.
